The university welcomes over 700 international students from 100 different countries each year. It has been educating students for over 100 years in subjects such as social sciences, business, health studies and art. It runs undergraduate and postgraduate foundation courses as well. There are 2 campuses with facilities including a bank, super market, and restaurant.
Academic English course runs termly between September and June. The course can start in September (IELTS 4.0 or TOEFL CBT 133 required), January (IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL CBT 173 required) and April (IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL CBT 193 required). It is aimed for students who wish to study at under and postgraduate level in English. The course could be combined with English for art, business or media.
