Using FES online booking system, it is possible to book the course in the language of the user's choice. Furthermore, after making the application, the automated email system enables the users to correspond with the school in their own language by translating the emails into English before sending them to the school. FES's Terms & conditions
	1. The scope This site is operated by Cosmopolitan Academy Ltd., trading as FES. The applicants booking an English course through FES agree to the terms & conditions of FES and the schools' terms. "schools' terms" will mean the terms & conditions and the cancellation policy of the school stated to the applicants at the time of the online booking. The online booking service provided by FES is completely free. 2. The online application (1) The online application implies the act of making an application to a course through FES online booking system after agreeing to the terms and conditions of FES and the school's terms. Once a booking is received, FES will email the confirmation of the receipt. (2) A completion of the online booking becomes a contract between the applicants, FES and the school. 3. Rejection The online application may be rejected for the following reasons: (1) The application is submitted by an under aged applicant without the consent from a person who is responsible for the applicant. (2) The course applied is over subscribed, not running or deemed unsuitable for the applicant. (3) There is not enough time to process the application. (4) The application is deemed to be unsuitable by FES for any other reasons. 4. Service This service assists the applicants to make the online booking for the course of their choice successfully, with the following conditions. (1) Choice of School and course The applicants choose the school and course by their own choice. (2) Application [1] The course FES will make the application to the school received through the online booking on behalf of the applicant. [2] The accommodation FES will request the accommodation desired received through the online booking to the school on behalf of the applicant. If the accommodation desired cannot be provided by the school, FES will not be responsible. Homestays may have more than one student in the household. [3] The payment FES will assist the applicants to make payments to the school by providing information necessary. The applicants must make at least the deposit payment to the school as agreed at the time of making the online booking. The balance payment must be paid to the school in accordance with the school's terms. [4] The insurance Some courses may include insurance within the fees. If not, FES strongly recommends the applicants to take out insurance to cover unforeseeable problems. [5] The school documents FES will request the school to send all necessary documents directly to the applicants. If further documents are required, FES provides the automated email service which enables the applicants to contact the schools in the language of their choice. [6] The postage FES will not charge the applicants any postage for any of the correspondence. 5. Documents The schools will send documents directly to the applicants. 6. Costs (1) The school fees Including registration and course fees. The quotation will be given to the applicants at the time of the online application including the deposit require and the balance to be paid. The balance must be paid to the school by the date in the school's terms. (2) The quotation FES will calculate and provide the quotation based on the latest figures provided by the schools. However, the quotation may be inaccurate due to the right of the schools to change their fees without notifications. FES will not be responsible for any differences between the quotation and school invoice. (3) Other The following are not included [1] Insurance (unless included in the school fees) [2] Bank transfer charges [3] Credit card surcharges [4] Accommodation and transfer fees (unless included in the school fees) 7. Changes of application If changes are requested by the applicants, the schools' terms will apply, which the applicants must obey. 8. Changes of stipulation FES reserves the right to change this terms & conditions. 9. Payments of the costs The applicants are responsible to pay the costs in clause 6 to the schools. If the applicants fail to pay the costs in accordance with the schools' terms, the booking may be cancelled. 10. Cancellation and refund After making the online booking, cancellations will be governed by the schools' terms. FES provides the automated email service to assist the applicants to make cancellations. Any cancellation fees payable to the schools are the sole responsibility of the applicants. 11. Unable to process application If an application cannot be processed due to the applicants' incompliance to the schools' terms, the applicants are liable for the cancellation charge depicted in the schools' terms. 12. Cancellation by FES (1) FES will reserve the right to cancel the online booking for the following reason/s: [1] the applicant does not send documents requested in time [2] the applicant does not make payment by the requested date [3] the applicant cannot be reached for more than one month [4] false information is provided during the online booking [5] any other reasons deemed suitable by FES (2) In case of cancellation of the online booking by FES, the applicant must comply with the schools' terms and pay any charges payable to the school. 13. Disclaimer (1) FES will not be responsible for: [1] the applicant cannot join the course booked due to lack of payment in time [2] the school decides to stop or change the course [3] the course is full [4] the applicant is unable to attend the course for personal reasons [5] the applicant is refused visa entry or does not obtain a valid passport [6] the applicant cannot depart the country in time [7] or any other reasons out of FES's control 14. Damages FES will not be responsible for any damages caused to the applicants other than damages caused directly by FES. 15. Change of school information FES provides information based on the information supplied by the schools. Schools sometimes change information without notification which leads to inaccurate information published by FES. FES will not be held responsible for the discrepancies of information in such cases. 16. Obligation to keep secrets FES will protect the applicant's personal details and will not supply it to third parties. 17. Applicable law The contract between FES and the applicant conforms to the British law. 18.Jurisdiction FES will try to resolve any disputes to the best of its ability. However, if it cannot be resolved, the case will be referred to the British juridical system. 19. Application date The terms and conditions applies to the online booking applications received in and after 2007. TOP
